Tips to Help Plan Your Visit:
-The Kalamazoo Farmers Market Safe Place. The Farmers Market must be a safe space that supports an event environment where all participants, attendees, volunteers, staff, vendors and guests are treated with dignity and respect. The event is committed to providing a welcoming atmosphere free from harassment, discrimination, threats, violence, or disruptive conduct based on race, gender, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation, political belief or personal identify. All participants are expected to contribute to a culture of professionalism, civility, and community care.
-Signage on site. No outside signage is allowed within the Farmers Market event space. The signage inside the event space is dedicated for the vendors, event information, and approved special events direction.
- Pets are not allowed. While we love & adore all guests, unfortunately, our market is not a safe space for pets (of any kind) due to the crowds and food safety concerns. Trained service animals are welcome.
- Accessible parking spaces are available in the lots to the north and south of the market. In the north lot, they are located on the southernmost edge (closest to the market). In the south lot, they are located on the east edge of the lot, facing Bank Street.
- Bike Racks are located along Bank Street. If you bike to the Market, don't forget about Bike Benefits! Just show us your Bike Benefits sticker at the Office and get a $2 token to spend at Market.
- Please NO STREET PARKING on Bank Street. We need to keep the street clear for emergency vehicles and to keep traffic moving smoothly. There are additional No Parking signs there as reminders, and we definitely don't want anyone's Market trip to lead to a parking ticket!
