As a cornerstone of the regional food system, KzFM hosts one of the largest and longest-standing farmers markets in Southwest Michigan. Our consistent success has allowed us to establish a premier lineup of local vendors and a dedicated customer base, welcoming thousands of shoppers to our market events throughout the year. Our Mission
Our mission is centered on providing fresh food accessibility for all, supporting local growers and makers, and creating an inclusive community space for people of all generations. As we intentionally expand our organization capacity to provide new programs and greater food equity across Kalamazoo, our financial operational requirements grow too.
Our annual sponsors provide the foundational revenue system that allows the Kalamazoo Farmers Market to financially grow, succeed, and serve our community year after year.

These essential functions require significant annual overhead and financial support. Additionally, we proudly implement critical food access initiatives—including SNAP, Double Up Food Bucks, and Veteran's Bucks. The ability to manage and promote these programs requires upfront operational costs and dedicated staff to manage every season.
Because KzFM relies on vendor stall fees and corporate sponsorships to remain sustainable, community partnerships are vital.
